By accessing or using the CleanSlate remote factory reset service ("Service") operated by DevShield Tech ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Service Description

CleanSlate is a remote factory reset service designed to:

• Provide secure remote wiping capabilities for Android devices
• Protect user data in case of device loss or theft
• Offer subscription-based access to advanced features
• Maintain user privacy and data security

3. Eligibility and Device Ownership

To use CleanSlate, you must:

1. Be at least 16 years of age
2. Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
3. Only install and use CleanSlate on devices that you own
4. Not use the Service on devices without explicit owner permission

By using CleanSlate, you represent and warrant that:

• You are the legal owner of all devices on which you install CleanSlate
• You have the authority to perform factory resets on these devices
• You understand that a factory reset will permanently erase all data on the device
• You have backed up any important data before using the reset feature

4. Account Registration and Security

To use CleanSlate, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your User ID and Reset Code
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

Certain features of CleanSlate require a paid subscription:

• Subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy
• Payment information is processed by our third-party payment processor
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
• We reserve the right to change subscription fees with 30 days' notice

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe upon the rights of others
• Access devices without proper authorization
• Circumvent security measures
• Distribute malware or harmful code
• Interfere with the Service's operation

Specifically, you agree not to:

• Use CleanSlate to reset devices you do not own
• Attempt to access others' devices through the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful surveillance
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized users

7. Data Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Factory reset permanently deletes all data on the device
• You are solely responsible for backing up your data
• We are not responsible for data loss resulting from reset operations
• You should perform resets only when necessary and with proper consideration

8. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the Service, including all intellectual property rights, are owned by DevShield Tech. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will meet your specific requirements
• The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
• The Service will be compatible with all devices or configurations

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DevShield Tech shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of our servers
• Any errors or omissions in any content
• Any loss or damage incurred as a result of your use of the Service

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless DevShield Tech and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of a third party
• Your installation or use of CleanSlate on devices you do not own

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Use of the Service on devices you do not own
• Unauthorized access attempts
• Suspicious or abusive activity

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of changes by:

• Posting the updated Terms on this page
• Updating the "Last Updated" date
• Notifying registered users via email for significant changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of US, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of US jurisdiction.
